FAQ

Do you grow more varieties than what is available on your web site?

Yes. But we are very selective in the ones we sell on line. The reason? We want to sell the best of quality to our customers. Since not all vegetables are the same and every one of them needs special growing care, we feel it best to learn all we can about a new variety before we sell it. In other words, we want to have all the knowledge available for that variety to pass along to our customers.

Do you sell seeds?

No, unfortunately. There are just too many variables involved in seed selling. Maybe in the future.

Do you ship to other states?

No, sorry. We only ship within the state of Oregon. The vast differences, distances and conditions in other growing zones have made it difficult to organize. Again, maybe  in the near future.

Where do you get your seeds from?

umm, these are all open pollinated. Need we say more?

Do you allow pickup?

Maybe, depends. If you really don't want to pay shipping and you live in the Southern Oregon area, call me and we can work something out. No unscheduled visits to the farm please!

Are your plants organic?

Okay, here's a difficult one to pin down. As most people know, being recognized "organic" means paying lots of money to the government so they can tell you it's alright to stamp your plants/veggies "organic". I cannot really justify getting this certification because it is costly. I will guarantee that MY methods are no different than those that ARE certified. I use no pesticides or commercial fertilizer in my growing methods. I believe in strict sustainable practices. I believe you will be pleased with the quality it produces. Rest comfortably knowing I care about the vegetable I produce.
